Every Kidney Counts: Act Today, Protect Tomorrow
This March, the global community comes together to mark World Kidney Day — a moment to reflect, to share, and above all to act. At Physidia, this day is not just a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of why we do what we do every single day.
A silent disease
Chronic kidney disease affects over 850 million people worldwide, yet most people are unaware of it. The kidneys work silently, filtering toxins, regulating fluid balance and maintaining essential physiological functions — often until damage has already progressed.
Early detection changes everything. A simple blood or urine test can reveal warning signs years before symptoms appear.

" The best treatment begins before symptoms appear."
Awareness Starts Close to Home
Change does not begin in hospitals. It begins in conversations — at the dinner table, in the office, with a colleague who has never thought to check their kidney function.
This year, we are asking each of us to take a small but powerful step: talk to the people around you.
Share the risk factors. Ask your loved ones when they last had a health check-up. Encourage your colleagues to take five minutes to learn whether they may be at risk.
Diabetes, high blood pressure, a family history of kidney disease — these are not abstractions. They are the lives of people we know.
Our Teams on the Ground
World Kidney Day is also a day of action at Physidia. Our teams are mobilised across the country to support screening operations — working alongside healthcare professionals, patient associations to bring testing closer to people who may never have walked into a nephrology clinic.
These field initiatives are at the heart of our mission. Making early detection accessible is not a slogan for us; it is a commitment we renew each year with concrete action.
Supporting Patients Every Step of the Way
For those already living with kidney failure, life does not stop — it adapts. At Physidia, we develop dialysis solutions designed around the patient, designed to fit into patients’ daily lives — at home and beyond.
Our mission is to improve health, quality of life, and freedom for those who are using our innovative solutions.
This World Kidney Day, we renew our commitment: to the patients we serve, to the caregivers who support them, and to all of us — for kidney health.
Together, we can make kidney health everyone's priority.
